Project Brief
AIA Hong Kong required a modern, scalable website that could support a wide range of insurance products, wellness programmes, and corporate information, while serving both existing customers and new prospects. As a leading insurer, the website needed to balance clarity, trust, and usability across a large volume of content.
The project focused on refreshing the user experience, strengthening navigation across products and programmes, and delivering a multilingual platform that performs reliably under high traffic. The website also needed to be easy for internal teams to manage, while meeting the expectations of a regulated financial services environment.
The Challenge
The website needed to present complex insurance offerings, wellness initiatives, and corporate information in a way that felt approachable rather than overwhelming.
Navigation had to support multiple user intents, from browsing products to learning about AIA’s values and long-term commitments.
The platform also had to operate seamlessly across English, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese, with consistent structure and content parity.
Performance, stability, and security were critical, given the scale of traffic and the sensitivity of financial services content.

Content was organised with clean URLs, metadata fields, and predictable page structures to support discoverability and long-term SEO efforts.
Cloud-managed Hosting and Maintenance
The website is supported by AWS infrastructure with ongoing monitoring and regular check-ups to maintain performance, stability, and security.
